The NRoSO Advisory Board has approved an increase in fees from 1 January 2018 to reflect the overall costs that the scheme incurs. The fees had remained unchanged since 2006, going forward the fees will be reviewed every three years.

NRoSO is administered on a day to day basis by City & Guilds. But it takes advice and direction from the Advisory Board who meet annually.  It comprises of industry organisations and associations, farmers, sprayer operators and training providers.

Revised Fees from 1 January 2018

Annual Membership £29
Three year membership £78
New members joining fee £10

The membership fee includes a levy payable to the Voluntary Initiative (VI). This helps support its ongoing work to promote the responsible use of pesticides to protect water and the wider environment and ensure the availability of professional pesticides in agriculture and horticulture, while avoiding unnecessary regulation in the sector.
